Are you a preacher's wife feeling overwhelmed with the responsibilities of church and home?

Perhaps you just aren't getting the learning and encouragement you need?

Maybe you are at a point in life were you need to relearn who you are and your identity in Christ?

Maybe you just need to reset you expectations.

From Bible study and ministry to managing schoolwork and, well being the wife of a preacher, the list of demands can  be exhausting. Scripture shows us that even our Lord carved out intentional time to retreat, pray, and visit with friends.

Join us at Big Reedy Christian Camp in Roundhill, KY for a weekend of fellowship, learning, and encouragement.

The retreat begins with women arriving in the early afternoon to check in on Friday. Throughout the day, free time classes are scheduled for those that are interested in attending them. These class can cover anything from how to study the Bible and other how to's, to handling grief or helping those with addiction, to decorating cookies and hand crafts.

These classes are offered twice, once each on Friday and then Saturday. They are taught by fellow ministers wives that have volunteered their time and effort to teach these classes.

It is worth noting that NONE of these classes are required attendance. You are more than welcome to crash in your cabin for a nap or fellowship with your cabin mates.

Over the course of the weekend, we will have lessons offered by the main speaker. There are usually three or four of these over a two day period.

On Saturday night/Sunday morning, it is a group effort as we all pitch in to help clean the camp.

Once we are ready, we head out to attend services at a local congregation.
